O The Game Awards 2021 aconteceu na noite da última quinta-feira (9), no qual premiou o jogo It Takes Two, da Hazelight Studios, com a premiação maior de Game of the Year, além de liderar na premiação como Best Family e Best Multiplayer (totalizando três premiações).
