Foi anunciado pela Billboard, na tarde deste domingo (23), os vencedores do Billboard Music Awards 2021. O show foi exibido pela TNT às 21:00. Um dos maiores vencedores da noite foi The Weeknd, indicado a 16 categorias.
O evento foi apresentado por Nick Jonas, e teve apresentações do grupo BTS, com a nova música, “Butter”; Doja Cat e SZA, com a música “Kiss Me More” e do grupo Jonas Brothers ao lado de Marshmello. A cantora P!nk recebeu uma homenagem.
No fim das contas, The Weeknd — que foi considerado um dos maiores injustiçados na última edição do Grammy, quando foi esnobado pela premiação — se sagrou vencedor em 10 categorias no Billboard Awards.
